Shy facelift
Just look at the old and the new agreement side by side to see that the design has not really changed since 2003. Too bad because since the arrival of the latest Civic that looks like a spaceship, we expected to be more surprised by the news of the manufacturer.
But the fact that customers in this segment prefer the classical to the originality has probably pushed the Japanese designers to stay sober in their pencil stroke. The new Agreement is none the less a nice car that does not lack aggression, especially in its declination break.
Inside, Honda seems to have made good efforts on the quality of materials. The center console and gear lever raised are reminiscent of the Toyota Auris.
Engines unchanged
No fuss under the hood of the new agreement but a small update to the cartography for the arrival of the future Euro 5 emissions standards (2009). The engines take the opportunity to gain a few horses, the 2.0 CDTi increases from 140 to 150 hp and the 2.4 i-VTEC from 190 to 200 hp.
Chapter Technology, the new Accord has many security chip from the Honda Legend.
