Wedged between the recent C4 and 308 newly restyled, the Megane is reviewing its copy. Enhanced by minor cosmetic touch-ups, it can also count on new diesels and a petrol engine of small displacement (1.2 liters) that encourages consumption.

In addition to these cosmetic changes, the Mégane range evolves in Chapter engines with the arrival of two blocks of Diesel Energy dCi 110 and 130 hp from a displacement of 1.6 liters. The first replaces the 1.5 dCi 110 and the second the 1.9 dCi 130 hp.
If the display remains the same powers as they stick perfectly to the needs of the market, however, fuel consumption drops like CO2 emissions.
Expect 3.8 l/100 km and 95 g of CO2 per km for version 110 hp and 4.0 l/100 km and 104 g CO2 per km for the 130 hp. Allowing both versions to get a measly € 100 bonus.
For the record, the values of the current model was respectively 4.1 l and 5.1 l and 106 g and 135 g.
On the gasoline supply range now starts with the "little" 1.2 TCe, a cubic rare for a compact. It appears, however, 115 hp and replaces the old 1.6 16v 110 bhp.
Renault shows a consumption of 5.3 l/100 km to 119 g CO2 per km (to be neutral to environmental tax) against 6.9 and 154 g for the 1.6 16v.
At the other end of the boiling range Renault Sport version glean additional 15 hp and increases its power to 265 hp is worth exactly the same as that delivered by the limited edition Trophy.
Increased safety
